Welcome to Soundpin, operated by Corteso (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Soundpin mobile application and website soundpin.me (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Soundpin, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

Soundpin allows musicians to connect by placing and viewing location markers on a shared map. Users can discover other musicians nearby or in areas they search for.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Soundpin. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

To use Soundpin, you must create an account with your email address, password, and username. You will also provide an artist name to be displayed on your profile. You may choose a stage name or alias instead of your real name. Your artist name and username will be visible to other users on the map and in your profile. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use an artist name that is not offensive, misleading, or infringing on others’ rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Soundpin for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
• Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others’ rights;
• Interfere with the operation of the app or attempt to access unauthorized areas.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you upload, such as your profile picture. By uploading content, you grant Corteso a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it within the app for the purpose of providing the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that any uploaded image, artist name, or other content does not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark, or privacy). All other intellectual property in the app — including design, code, and branding — belongs to Corteso.

6. Availability and Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms, and any continued use of Soundpin after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

Soundpin is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind. Corteso does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by Austrian law, Corteso is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Austria.
